The NH City Centre Hotel is housed in a traditional 6-storey building, dating from 1920, with a recently restored exterior. The spacious lobby is brightly decorated with tiled floors, potted plants, square pillars and large windows, which overlook one of Amsterdam’s many famous canals. There is also an ample seating area, open plan with the lobby. The 209 guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the building. None the less, all are attractively decorated in green and burgundy with pale wood furnishings. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor and is spacious with burgundy furnishings. There is also a small à la carte restaurant, called "Gerzonis," which is split level and serves Italian cuisine.
