The Citadel Hotel is housed in a traditional Dutch townhouse, which blends in well with the architecture of the surrounding area. The 38 guestrooms vary in size from medium to small due to the age of the building, but are cosily decorated in warm colours. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is appointed in a modern style.

The Citadel Hotel benefits from an excellent location in the heart of the city, just a short walk from both Central Station and Dam Square. The comfortable guestrooms are simple, clean, well facilitated, and well maintained. A generous selection is provided for the continental breakfast buffet, served in the bright, airy, and tastefuly decorated breakfast room. The Citadel is well suited to those who want a fuss-free, clean, and comfortable base for their visit.
