The Swissôtel Amsterdam is housed in several traditional buildings with 19th-century façades that have been joined together. Offering a sharp contrast to the historic exterior, the recently renovated lobby is bright and airy, with a marble floor, pale décor and a wood and steel reception desk. The 109 tastefully decorated guestrooms vary in size due to the age of the property. Featuring soothing neutral décor, they are well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel’s stylish and modern restaurant and bar, "Dam Plaza", offers a wide selection of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner with vegetarian options also available.
