The Convent Hotel, formerly known as Sofitel but still part of the Accor chain, is housed in several, inter-linked merchant houses. Elegantly decorated in green tones, the lobby features a pale wood reception desk, a tiled floor, glass tables and mirrored ceilings.
There are 148 bedrooms, each decorated in a modern, warm style with quality bedding and the usual range of facilities including wi-fi internet access.
The hotel's bar and restaurant, The Duke of Windsor, is styled like the interior of the Orient Express dining room and serves a range of meals and drinks daily.
