Everything good especially the service, nice breakfast. Hotel room a bit tired could do with decorating. You can get several trams to the end of the street from the train station or a 15 min walk, just ask any of the staff at the station.

Rooms on the street side can be noisy. Request canal side room. The hotel provides complemetary toothbrushes, razor and shaving cream, hairbrush, etc..very comprehensive

Fantastic hotel, great location, quite near to the centre squares, but not too close you get the noise! Best of both worlds! Breakfast was brilliant, s much choice. the rooms were great too, very clean and neat, mini bar was a little expensive though!!

A decent Hotel in a decent location. Certainly not in the more seedy parts of the city. I stayed with my wife and 8 year old son and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to enjoy the real Amsterdam from the Hotel. It's canal side location gives it that authentic european feel! Facilities are great - grand but not too posh.!

Travel by taxi to the hotel if you want to avoid the red light district - do not walk in the direction of central station from the hotel if you want to avoid the red light district - use the canal bus to get around ... excellent value for money!

A hotel steeped in history (Amsterdam's oldest / where Rembrandt painted one of his most famous works of art), in a beautiful location on the edge of a canal
