I would recommend it as it was good value for money. But because its on a main road if ur located at the front of the hotel it is seriously noisy, especially at 6am!!!!

Hotel is in an excellent location for getting to all the tourist venues-just round the corner from the flower market.Very helpful staff who looked up info for us a couple of times.Breakfast was good-self service. You could have a hot breakfast of bacon, eggs, beans, sausage and not just the cold continental breakfast that is sometimes the only option. Altogether a very pleasant stay.

1.Found a very good steak restaurant called Bistro La Forge de Alberto at Korte Leidsedwarsstraat 26. This is in a little street just off the Leidseplein.
2.If flying with KLM-buy the discounted Holland Pass- it saved us quite a bit of cash and we jumped the queues at the museums.

No tea/coffee making facilities and no room service. No other complaints apart from these though and would highly recommend the hotel.

Brilliant location! There is a beautiful flower market and many shop 2 minutes walk away. Rembrandt Square has lots of places to eat and drink again 2 minutes away. The bedroom room had very poor lighting with all the lights turned on. This was very disappointing as it was difficult to read and put make up on in the evenings. The decoration & content of the room was fine and had everything we needed - wardrobe, shelves, surface to put cases on, table, chairs, desk & TV and side tables with drawers. It was abit small with all these but no problem otherwise. The bathroom only had a shower - I expected a bath in it for a 3* hotel. The other rooms of my group booking did have baths - So I was disappointed mine didn't. The bathroom got very stuffy after 2 people had showers - it felt like there was no ventilation and room began to smell unpleasant. However we appreciate that this is in a good location for the price we paid, the staff made up for it and were excellent. The breakfast buffet which was included was excellent - there was cooked and selection of fruit, bread, cereals etc..and so the price in comparison with other hotels was very competitive. One point - We were asked if we wished to upgrade to get tea & coffee facilities in the room -I am not sure how nuch more it cost - however this was rather a strange question as all hotels in the UK have these as standard.

We went to fantastic Restaurant - Rain Restaurant on Rembrandt Square which also has a bar which turns into club on later. The food & service was excellent! Highly recommend a visit!!
