The Aalborg Hotel is a family-run property, housed in a traditional terraced brown stone building, which blends in well with the surrounding architecture. The lobby is small but bright and airy. Though fairly large, the 36 guestrooms are decorated and furnished in a simple, understated fashion. They are in decent condition, as are the en suite bathrooms. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which has a tiled floor and large windows.
