The Citadel Hotel is housed in a traditional Dutch townhouse, which blends in well with the architecture of the surrounding area. The 38 guestrooms vary in size from medium to small due to the age of the building, but are cosily decorated in warm colours. The hotel offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming breakfast room, which is appointed in a modern style.

The hotel lies in historic surroundings close to Amsterdam’s central station, as well as the Royal Palace, flower market and the renowned Bijenkorf and Magna Plaza department stores.
